This GPS is my go-to for recording my trips in the mountains, on bikepacking trips, and for following tracks.The eTrex 22x and 32x handheld devices come preloaded with road-routable TopoActive Europe maps that feature streets and trails so you can take the journey off the grid. Garmin TopoActive maps includes routable road, trail and path networks, waterways, natural features as well as buildings, international boundaries and more. I check it when needed to navigate complicated intersections, make sure I’m still on route, and occasionally find waypoints like water sources or campgrounds. Device Overview The buttons on the eTrex 32x are dead simple and follow the same layout as most Garmin GPS units.

The TOPO PRO means that it is the latest map card from Garmin, giving you off road turn by turn routing within the National Parks, this means you can select a location many miles ahead and the GPS will route you via the footpaths to get to that location (like a car sat nav does). It is a handy size, only measuring 18 cm total in length, it is made using a stylish, narrow tilted handle, within which you insert the batteries which are two AAA batteries, not supplied. Coverage for: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia (Kaliningrad only), San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom and the Vatican City. The preloaded TopoActive GPS mapping makes navigating Europe a breeze, while adventures in the UK are able to be enhanced with the ability to add Ordnance Survey maps at an additional cost.The internal 8gb memory is loaded with the Garmin topo maps and doesn't have much space left for additional maps.
