Child Car Seat rules changes- Will they impact you yet?

As many of you will be aware there are new rules around backless child car seat as of March 1st 2017.  In summary the changes mean that the weight and height at which a child can use a backless booster seat has increased to mean only children weighing over 22kg (3st 7lbs) who are also over 125cm (4ft 1ins) tall can use the seats.  But don't throw away your existing car seats, the rules only apply to new car seats - you can carry on using your existing seat as long as it conforms to safety standards (there should be a label with a capital E in a circle on it).
